Personality // A rather arrogant, confident and self-centered person, Marluxia is what many would call power-hungry. He loves taking command of things, he loves commanding things, to the point where he hates being told what to do until and unless it falls in with what he already wanted to do and he loves to show just how good he is at whatever he does. There is normally no questioning his words, if he wants it, come rain or storm, he'll go ahead and do it, regardless of whether he has to resort to blackmail or threats to have his way.

While maintaining an air of confidence, Marluxia definitely has a complex, this being that he cannot tolerate not being the best or at the top of whatever he's doing. If there is doubt in his work, he'll go out of his way to make it perfect, or he'll try destroying what's making him flawed.

Marluxia believes in being graceful and to have his actions speak louder than his words (not that he doesn't have the words to give, he'll give his opinion with or without someone's consent) but in his view, presentation is everything. He abhors vulgarity and will often do what he does with finesse and grace and make sure he's noticed for it.

This isn't to say Marluxia is completely forcive about what he wants. Manipulative, quite so. He has no qualms using people for his own purposes but he would rather they like what they're doing because of him doing the same and doing it well. If he has to force people into doing what he wants them to, he considers them weak and doesn't hold back from making them feel so. Those select few that do somehow gain his trust are also given his protection and there will be no questioning that. He sees himself as a leader than a follower and can have the tendency to question his superiors, but he most likely follows those that he feels have a close view to his own and allows them to command him if he agrees with said commands.

Where it comes to being around the other Nobodies, he probably even maintains a rather 'good' personality. He can be friendly, he can be smart, he can be spoken to (and perhaps even be friendly enough to be rather casual with who he interacts with) but more often than not, it is an act and there's barely any trust behind his actions, if at all. What he's usually trying to do is to gain knowledge that can either be used against the others in the hopes of making himself look better, though this doesn't mean he'll allow his motives to be obvious enough to be called out on them. He's actually quite reserved though this doesn't stop him from acting otherwise as long as there are no personal attacks made towards him. He hates being called out on his actions and behavior, because he believes he is supposed to be an example to others.

He is aware of the fact that he isn't always right, but in his own view, that isn't going to stop him as long as he can rectify it himself. He'll usually put down anyone trying to tell him he's wrong but he'll keep it in the back of his mind to make sure he works on it and it's never brought up again. To him, everything is fixed with position and power and there'll usually be no stopping him from getting what he wants once he has his mind set on it.

And once he has that, there's no way he'll ever do a bad job of it. Even if it involves killing what gets in his way to make it so.
